This Privacy Policy explains how GreenPeel Foods ("we," "us," or "our") — currently operated by its founder as an early-stage venture prior to formal incorporation — collects, uses, retains, and protects information when you use GreenPeel Foods (the "Service").

We collect the following categories of information:

• Photos you submit: images captured via your device's camera or uploaded by you, for the purpose of generating a skin analysis.
• Account information: if you create an account, information such as your name and email address.
• Scan results: the metrics, confidence scores, and heatmaps generated from your photo.
• Usage and device data: limited technical information such as browser type and general usage patterns, used to operate and improve the Service.

We use the information we collect solely to:

• Generate your skin analysis and display your results;
• Operate, maintain, and secure the Service;
• Maintain your scan history, if you have an account;
• Respond to your support, contact, or data-request inquiries.

We do not use your photos for advertising or sell your personal data.

Where applicable data-protection law (such as the GDPR) requires a legal basis, we rely primarily on your consent (given before each scan) to process your photo, and on our legitimate interest in operating and securing the Service for account and usage data. You may withdraw consent at any time by declining a future scan or requesting deletion of your data.

Your original photo is retained only as long as needed to generate your results and is automatically deleted within a short retention window afterward — generally within 24 hours. Derived scan results (scores, explanations, and heatmaps) and account information are retained until you request deletion or close your account. You may request deletion of any or all of your data at any time via our Contact page.

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights over your personal data, consistent with GDPR-style protections:

• Access: request a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
• Rectification: request correction of inaccurate data;
• Erasure: request deletion of your data, including photos and scan history;
• Portability: request your data in a portable, machine-readable format;
• Objection / restriction: object to, or request that we restrict, certain processing.

We use a minimal set of cookies or similar local storage necessary to operate the Service — for example, keeping you signed in or remembering in-progress scan state. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

We may use third-party infrastructure providers (such as cloud hosting, storage, or compute providers) strictly to operate the Service. These providers process data under confidentiality and data-processing agreements and are not permitted to use your data for their own purposes.

If your data is transferred to and processed in a country other than your own, we take reasonable steps to ensure it receives an adequate level of protection consistent with this Policy and applicable law.

The Service is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children below the age required for consent to data processing under applicable law. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can delete it.

We encrypt photos and personal data in transit and at rest, and apply reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
